Summary of Position

Are you the mythical beast, the strategic, highly skilled social media unicorn who can ensure the consistent, high-level execution and elevation of an established digital brand voice? If your brain runs on data and creativity, this is your next power-up. We need someone who can speak fluent Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and B2B. 

RYNO is hunting for a Senior Social Media Specialist, a true Unicorn, to report to the Senior Director of Marketing. Forget simple content scheduling; this is a pivotal role where you take FULL ownership of our entire social ecosystem. Your mission is clear: drive strategic development and execution across all platforms to fuel engagement, audience growth, and cultural relevance. 

Location Note: This role is fully remote, but if you're chilling in the Greater Phoenix Metro area, you get preferred status. (Proximity to good tacos matters.) 

Who You Are 

We need a leader who can think like a comedian, creative like a chaotic artist, fluent in what's trending, and is capable of solving all known human problems, preferably before lunchtime. 

• Your Superpower: Success requires extreme operational flexibility. You must be able to pivot on a dime as workflows or strategies need to be instantly re-prioritized in direct response to an executive mandate. 

• You are the Workflow Wizard: You'll own RYNO’s social media lifecycle, proactively driving innovation by translating platform trends and new tools into effective, brand-aligned campaigns. 

• You are the Meme Maestro & Content Ninja: You can turn a random thought into scroll-stopping content that’s trending and funny, and can post it without causing chaos. Using AI to create cool videos is a HUGE plus! 

• You are the Guardian of Good Taste: You'll ensure our elevated aesthetic is maintained through close collaboration with internal stakeholders. You'll also be the Compliance Czar, safeguarding the brand by maintaining clear policies and workflows. 

• You are a Results-Oriented Guru: You have a proven track record and are a direct communicator who can constructively challenge the status quo to foster innovation. 

• You were born in portrait mode: You must be cool with seeing your face on camera – a lot. Like “I’ve watched myself say the same thing 12 times” comfortable - even in questionable lighting. 

• You are the Podcast Sensei: You can take a concept from brainstorming to a polished, produced podcast - not like it was recorded in a closet of broken dreams. 

• You're a grown-up (mostly): Your brain's default setting is now "Executive Feedback Processing Mode." You don't just accept critique; you proactively embrace it with a growth mindset, fueled by three gallons of coffee and the understanding that their "idea" is just your next, even more brilliant, deliverable. 

Position Responsibilities

• Be the Strategy Mad Scientist: Develop and execute RYNO's social media strategy across all platforms, focusing on maximizing engagement, expanding audience, and achieving cultural relevance.
• Own the Flow: Own the entire social strategy workflow, including content planning, publishing, and calendar alignment in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Predict the Future: Proactively drive innovation by translating platform trends, new tools, and best practices into brand-aligned executions before they become mainstream.
• Data Dragon: Own social reporting and analytics, ensuring data-driven insights are consistently applied to inform both strategic and creative direction.
• Aesthetic Alignment: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all visual and narrative content maintains the brand's distinct, elevated aesthetic and voice.
• Possess X-Ray Vision for Typos: Your detail-orientation is extreme: you spot misplaced commas and prevent brand-damaging, existential crises before hitting "Publish," because the mere thought of a typo surviving publication will keep you awake at night.
• The Rulebook Creator: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all social media policies and workflows, ensuring legal and brand compliance.
• The Alliance Maker: Establish and cultivate positive, efficient working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive cross-functional planning and successful project execution.
• The Swiss Army Knife: Additional job duties as assigned by management (AKA, whatever chaos the universe or the executive team throws your way next).

You must bring 2-3 years of managing B2B or agency social media, and possess: 

• The Strategist's Brain: Experience developing and executing unique social media strategies that align with brand and business objectives. 

• The Platform Guru: Proven content management across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube & X and other relevant platforms. 

• The Analyst's Eye: Expertise in analyzing social media analytics with the ability to balance data-driven insights and creative instincts to increase engagement and audience growth. 

• The Navigator: Demonstrated agility and flexibility by rapidly adjusting strategies and processes as business needs or market conditions dictate. 

• The Certified Pro: Facebook Blueprint certified 

• The Ultimate Tech Stacker: Proficiency with tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, SalesForce or similar CRMs. 

• The Work Ethic Guru: Highly organized with excellent time management skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

The total compensation for this non-exempt, salaried opportunity includes a base salary of $70,000 to $80,000. This is our target compensation range and is subject to multiple factors, including role, level, experience, and location. This role is eligible for a quarterly performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility is based on performance metrics and company results. As you go through our interview process, your recruiter will work with you to identify a competitive base salary within the proposed range.
