The role:
We’re seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and hungry social, creative director to lead our agency’s established content creator team.
A creative individual who’s excited about all things content and whose uplifting energy naturally transfers to our growing team.
This year, Kairos’ core objective is creative excellence, so this role will be a key player within the wider creative structure, pushing our client output to the next level.
In addition to deep platform knowledge and a core understanding of the ever-evolving best practices, we’re looking for an individual who lives and breathes the trends, subcultures, and memes that create hyper-relevance for our clients online.
Working into Executive Creative Director, Katy Sumption, this individual will be solely responsible for the uplift and leadership of their creator team but lean on and work closely with the ECD for support and additional creative direction.
In addition to category-leading, always-on content, this collaborative individual will lead the translation of our large social campaigns and conceptualize the engagement-driving content off the back.
On the flip side, we’d like a hungry individual who can also spot trending social moments and conversations that can lead to larger campaigns.
This social, creative director must be passionate about nurturing their team and creating a strong sense of unity within their live creator team and across the campaign too and up for coming on the journey of making Newgen the leader in social-first creativity.

Responsibilities:
- Guardian and quality control for the content team's social output
- Build client-facing relationships and confidently present the work
- Grow, nourish and inspire the content team to ensure they reach the height of their creative output
- Work closely with the creative campaign team to ensure best-in-class social output from all campaign moments
- Ensure content leaving the building is on brand and on the wider social strategy
- Be a pillar of creative inspiration for the wider business, constantly showcasing and educating to the wider business
- Be a voice in the wider industry as we champion our creative output across Linkedin and wider industry platforms

Requirements:
- This individual must have at least eight years of industry experience, with the past 5, in particular, having worked at social-first companies.
- A strong portfolio and CV showcasing their experience and output with case studies demonstrating their impact
- Experience leading a team and nurturing talent
