Spacetalk is looking for a creative and talented short-term contractor to take our social media game to the next level over the Christmas and Holiday period.

If you’re a meme wizard 🧙‍♂️, know what works on Instagram, and can craft engaging, fun, and on-brand content that connects with families, this gig is for you!

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with a knack for creating viral memes and shareable content.
• Experience with Instagram
• Ability to create high-quality posts quickly and stay on top of trending topics.
• A good eye for design and a great sense of humor.

What you’ll do:

• Create and schedule posts to keep our socials lively over the holidays.
• Bring fresh ideas to engage and grow our community.
• Help us spread joy and keep families connected during the festive season.

📍 Location: Remote -- thoough we have offices in Martin Place you are welcome to join us in!

• Comfortable producing high-quality content on a tight timeline during the holiday period.
• Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools for creating visually appealing posts.
• Clear and concise writing for captions and hashtags that align with Spacetalk’s brand voice.
• Familiarity with Instagram Insights and basic social media analytics to track performance and optimise posts (bonus but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision.
• Flexibility to work over the Christmas/New Year period, when engagement is high.
• An understanding of or interest in Spacetalk’s mission to connect and protect families.
