About The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with a creative spark and data-driven mindset. You'll own the strategy and execution of Odin’s social content, helping us grow brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads through high-quality, relevant, and entertaining content.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
- Write high-converting captions and posts aligned with Odin’s brand tone and values
- Design branded visuals using Canva and similar tools
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks) with basic transitions, audio, and text overlays
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Descript) to scale content ideation and execution
- Monitor engagement data and adjust strategies to maximize growth and lead generation
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team on cross-channel campaigns and branding
- Lead Odin Minutes – creating short-form insights from podcasts, webinars, and interviews
- Maintain a monthly content calendar and ensure consistent brand storytelling
- Research social media trends, competitors, and audience behavior to stay ahead of the curve
Required Experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a social media role, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment
- Proven record of growing brand pages and driving leads or conversions through content
- Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, or similar scheduling tools
- Demonstrated ability to write engaging copy for diverse social audiences
- Proficient in basic video editing (CapCut, Adobe Express, etc.) and familiar with generative AI
Favorable Experience
- Experience working in fintech, mortgage, or financial services
- Familiarity with SEO and how it connects to social strategy
- Background in meme marketing, informal tone development, or viral content
- Prior success running paid campaigns on Meta or TikTok
- Advanced use of AI tools for scripting, design, or editing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Certification in digital marketing or social media marketing (preferred)
- Video editing or design course certification (bonus)
Required Skills
- Exceptional copywriting and brand storytelling skills
- Proficiency in Canva, video editing tools, and content scheduling platforms
- Solid understanding of platform-specific trends and content types
- Comfortable with data, analytics, and A/B testing content performance
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across remote teams
